Summer Fair 2025: A Huge Success!

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our Summer Fair this year!  

In June, we held our Garden Party in aid of Bala, in the lovely gardens of St. Mary’s, Latton, near Cirencester. Firstly, a big thank you to the owners, Richard & Nesta Hawes, for all their generosity and hard work, before, during and after the day. 

It rained, but not while everyone was arriving. We all kept reasonably dry through a downpour, thanks to the large tents and tree canopy. Otherwise, it was fine and sunny! We had heaps of delicious cakes with tea and drinks, a few stalls and games, which all made about £2,850, including some very generous gifts. 

We also had our usual Auction of Promises, with many interesting lots, which, thanks to some very generous bidding, raised £3,205. The overall total was therefore about £6,825, which will be an enormous help to the Centre. Thank you to everyone who gave, came and helped. 

Thanks to all of your generous support, which will go directly towards helping us fund our ongoing projects at Bala Children’s Centre. We couldn’t have done it without you. Stay tuned for details on upcoming events and we look forwards to seeing you next year!
