There are many ways to get involved and support the Bala Children’s Centre.

Visit the centre

We visit the Centre twice a year to help out, either with projects on the farm or in the school.  If you are interested in joining us then please email and we’ll get back to you.  We stay at the Centre so please don’t expect five star ratings and, of course, you will have to pay for your own travel and subsistence while we are there.  Everyone who has been has thoroughly enjoyed the experience – it’s a joy to meet the children that we’re helping!

Run a fundraising event

Shave your head, bathe in beans, walk the length of Britain – how you fundraise is up to you.  Perhaps you could bake some cakes and take them into work or sell them to friends.  Whatever you decide to do, your time and support is greatly appreciated.

Nominate us as your chosen charity

We’d love it if you nominated us as your chosen charity.  Raising money for charity is a great way of engaging employees and of giving back.  Just £800 is all we need to buy a cow – could you raise that?  In return, you’ll get regular feedback from us on where your money is going, updates on the projects you’re funding and, of course, your logo on any promotions that we do.

Help at our events

Every other year we have a ball to raise money.  We’re always looking for help, whether that’s promoting the event, donating a venue or food or tickets or anything really.  We also have a variety of events through the year which are generously supported by individuals and companies but we’re always looking for more support.

Organise a shipment of clothes

Every time we visit the Centre we take suitcases of clothes, shoes and toys for the children.  You could either donate some of your unwanted items and we’ll take them with us, or, you could organise your own container shipment.  Now that’s a lot of clothes – but we know you can do it!

There are lots of ways to get involved – please do!
